Health-Tech Leadership Program

Course details:

The tailor-made curricula is built according to the needs of diverse audiences, to facilitate innovation and medical entrepreneurship in both health organizations and industry.

The program will provide the participants with knowledge and familiarity with Health-Tech in its manifold aspects.

It will consist of:

A.      Lectures in the three core areas of health technology:

drug development / medical devices / and digital medicine / as well as in the regulatory and legal domains of medical entrepreneurship.

B.      Participant exposure to health-tech companies, innovation centers in health organizations, entrepreneurs, and established physicians and experts in the industry.

Outcomes:

At the end of the course, the participants will:

Have been exposed to various aspects and benefits of involvement with the Health-Tech industry including understanding the processes involved in the development of various innovative practices.

Building a network between the participants and with those they meet and connect within the course will benefit the East Jerusalem and West Bank health care system.

Length:  Six meetings (7 hours each) at Techlinic Offices (Eastech Training room), Al Dar-Mall, 6th Floor.

Duration: The meetings will be held once every two weeks on Mondays

Start date: The first meeting will be on June 10th

Site Visits: Two out of offices visits (one to an Incubator and one in Sharee Tzedek Medical center).  The meetings will be held once every two weeks on Mondays. The first meeting will be on June 10th.

Applicants’ requirements

Candidates for the program will be in leading positions within their medical organizations, preferably a manager and a physician, and interested in the domain of health tech and medical entrepreneurship.

Selection Criteria:

The attendants must understand health issues, an understanding of the clinical world and decision making

5 plus years and proof of holding a senior position in one or more health organizations

They should declare that they are fully committed to attending the program and able to fully meet the participation requirements

Motivation to participate in the program and interested in the medical innovation field

Their medical centers could approve the participation of the applicants in the course
